Imo State: President Buhari arrives Owerri, commissions projects (Photos)

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari arrived Owerri, Imo State today, September 9th, 2021 to commission the completed projects of the shared prosperity government.

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has commenced the implementation of His three Rs- Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery agenda which was the cardinal points on which he campaigned for votes in the last election.

Despite the Covid-19 lockdown and its negative impact on the economy, Gov Hope has remained sacrosanct to his campaign promises.

In less than 2 years, the 3R government has successfully completed Egbeada Bypass
(2.5km dual carriage road), The new exco chamber and lounge, Balloon Drainage System (Dick Tiger) and Nekede Road (Phase 1) with other numerous ongoing projects.

President Buhari speaking during the commissioning of projects said He is very pleased with the landmark projects executed by the shared prosperity government of Gov Hope Uzodinma.

“Governor Uzodimma is a man of integrity, that was why I accepted to come and I am very pleased with what I have seen here”.

Gov Hope has also expressed his gratitude over the President’s visit to the state while assuring him of the hospitality and conviviality of Imo people.

“It is with a heart full of gratitude that I, on behalf of the good people of Imo State, welcome His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR to the Eastern Heartland on a working visit to commission some of our completed people oriented projects”.
