Gov. Uzodinma Sets Up 15-Man Panel To Investigate Police Brutality In Imo State

Sequel to#EndSARS nationwide protest, Imo State Gov. Hope Uzodinma has set up a 15-man panel of inquiry to investigate alleged police brutality in the country, as it affects the state.

According to a release by the state commissioner for information, Declan Emelumba, the panel is to identify all those who have made claims of police brutality, investigate them and make appropriate recommendations, including possible compensations and sanctions

The panel is also to examine existing police structures in the country, including the renumeration regime and make recommendations for comprehensive reforms in the police to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

2 Mr Allenbi Onyemaechi
3 Barr Chima Anozie
4 President National Youth Council of Nigeria, Imo State
5 Chief Titus Uzor
6 Chibuike Ogboma
7 Belusochukwu Nwere
8 The Chairman Christian Council of Nigeria, Imo State
10 Victor Nwachukwu
11 The President National Council of Women Society, Imo State.
12 Rep of Youths in the 3 geo political zone in the state.
13. Barr Chris Obialor (Secretary)
