2019: Imo Guber aspirant Tony Nwulu dumps PDP for UPP

In a bid to achieve his gubernatorial ambition, front line aspirant, Hon. Tony Nwulu has left the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for United Progressive Party UPP.

39 year old Tony Nwulu who is the member of the House of Representatives for Oshodi/Osolo Federal Constituency in Lagos State, recently made it clear that he is on a mission to genuinely rescue Imo State and also step up the push for a youthful governor come 2019.

Hon. Nwulu who confirmed the party switch via a phone call with www.otowngist.com, said he moved to UPP because he believes PPD cannot offer him the needed platform to serve Imo State.

Hon. Nwulu then said that he believes that Imo State needs fresh ideals and people, adding that UPP will offer Imolites that long awaited leader who will lead the state to a new level.

Having attended a leadership course in Harvard University and other strategic meetings with members of the European Parliament, Hon. Tony Nwulu is setting his sight on making UPP the next big party in the state as well as achieving his dream Imo State.

He has also attracted both local and international accololades for the Not Too Young To Run Act which has encouraged youths across the country to be more involved in governance.
