Fulani herdsmen allegedly kill Rev. Father because he preached against them

Rev. Father Joseph Mulimibi preached against Fulani Herdsmen and was murdered the next day.

A priest was killed allegedly because he preached against the killings by the Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria.

Rev. Father Joseph Mulimibi preached against the activities of Fulani Herdsmen on Wednesday, 10th January 2018 and was murdered the next day, in a village in Uganda.

 Facebook user, Regal Ibokette Renee took to Facebook to pay tribute to him writing;

This is one of the numerous reasons why you shouldn’t vote for Buhari/APC come 2019

Rev. Father Joseph Mulimibi preached against Fulani Herdsmen on the 10th January 2018 wednesday , next day he was murdered. That is how bad the situation is in Nigeria now. Rest In Peace Father.

Enternal rest grant unto your soul and let perpetual light shine upon you.
Rest On Padre!

I didn’t know this man personally but as a Catholic Priest I can predict what he would have been preaching.
He probably stood up and spoke against Fulani Herdsmen killings. He probably told them you can’t hold guns and ask for your rights. He also must have spoken against the injustice meted out on Christian farmers. I am sure he was a man of Peace, he must have told the Christians don’t pick up guns, trust in God, He will avenge you, He will protect you He will defend you.

Today he watches and joins the fight from Heaven!

Each time they slaughter a Christian a standard is erected against them. Each time these vermin’s take another life, Buhari is getting closer to the exit door.

Adieu! Dear Father Mulimibi.
Your precious martyrdom will not be in vain!”

Meanwhile, Ondo State governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, has declared that his administration will apply force to arrest the menace of Fulani herdsmen in the state.

The governor made the declaration in Akure, on Sunday, during an event to commemorate the Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

“We have been using security agencies to engage the herdsmen to carry out their business peacefully but when engagement fails, we will use force. We will confront the herdsmen with all we have,” the governor said.
