No Money, Weapon Found In Ex-Dg’s House, Says DSS

The department of state service, DSS has faulted some online publications and videos about the alleged recovery of twenty one billion naira cash and assorted rifles from the Katsina and Abuja homes of the former director general of the service, Lawal Daura.

A statement signed by the service spokesman Tony Opuiyo on Monday said neither money nor four hundred guns were recovered by operatives of the EFCC during any operation in Daura’s house anywhere.

The statement added that the said PVC’s belonging to niger republic immigrants said to have been found in Daura’s home is also fake and a figment of the imagination of mischief makers.

The department of state service wants Nigerians to discard attempts to mislead the public over the activities that led to the invasion of the national assembly last week by its operatives while waiting for the outcome of the investigation initiated by the presidency into the matter.
